1) Definition, etiology pathophysiology
Chickenpox is a viral infection caused by varicella zoster on exposure to it ,by direct contact ,low immunity .It enters the victim by air droplet infection weakens immune system leading to signs and symptoms
After the virus enters the person it starts production of immunoglobulin M, Immunoglobulin G and Immunoglobulin A antibodies ,it acts as a immune power life long.The virus may spread from mucosa and epithelial cells to sensory nerves.Then it remains in a latent period,if the person is expired to the virus in future may develop herpes.
