He has been referred to the local children’s hospital to be seen at the craniofacial clinic for an unrepaired cleft lip and palate. d. The major challenge in the nursing care of ghalib and his family is language barrier. It will totally affect the communication between nurse and parents, in the nursing care also. She should observe the nonverbal communication such as gestures or expressions of baby and parents.
