Compile information as follows in landscape layout (handwritten) maximum pages two.You cannot use this as a template unless creating this in landscape. You should draw lines (as rows and columns as indicated) after completing each row, since the amount of info varies for each box. Read text if you think info is insufficient in the figure. You can supplement using other text books also. Scan and upload to drop box. You may not find information for all boxes just say NA or use cross sign. Student must clearly show how nutrients are breaking down (like equations) just as seen the respective figures with appropriate enzymes. Student must identify what is the end product of each nutrient when digested. All these equations must be highlighted on your work sheet. This is the crux of this assignment.
Failure to follow these instructions will lead to significant loss of points

Stomach |
Gall bladder- The essential function of gall baldder is to store and concentrate bile juice, which is an digestive enzyme produced by liver.
Liver- The main functions are production and excretion of bile, enzyme activation and metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats and storage of nutrients, glycogen, vitamins and minerals
Stomach- The prrimary function is to breaking down and digestion of food inorder to extract nutrients.
carbohydrate digestion:
Digestion starts from the mouth when it gets chewed, partially gets digested mechanically and mixed with saliva and chemical digestion occurs in stomach and enters into small intestines, gets completely digested by pancratic enzymes and gets absorbed into bloodstream.
Fat digestion:
Some fats get digested in mouth and stomach and the complete digestion takes place in intestine. Liver produces bile and stored in gall bladder helps in digesting these fats with the help of pancreatic enzyme. Digested fats gets stored in adipose tissue throughout in body.
Protein Digestion:
Digestion of protein occurs in stomach with the help of digestive juices. It gets absorbed in bloodstream and transported throughout body.
Nutrients absorption:
Absorption occurs in small intestine. Water soluable vitamins can't be stored. Excessive vitamins get excreted in urine.
Fat soluable vitamins gets stored in liver and fatty tissue of body.
