Describe some actions taken by the government to ensure that people are safer and healthier today than we were 100 years ago.

The public health is an important topicto be discussed, it inolves with mainly avoiding diseases, improving the physical and mental health of the person. There should be some organizational activities in the community to prevent the diseases such as classes about personal hygeine, the ways for preventing the infectious diseases. The goverment intervention is must for providing the people a better health care. In the U.S the policies like clean water act and the obama care are examples for this. In the united states 1.3 million people were diagnoiosed with rheumotaid arthritis , a disease caused by the inflammation of joints causing pain, stiffness and swelling. The risk factors associated with the rheumotaid arthritis are sex, women are likely to develop this kind of arthritis. The rehumotaid arthritis is mostly found between the ages of 40 to 60, smoking, obesity and family history also can contribute to rheumotaid arthritis. The possibile prevention to rheumotaid arthritis is by doing the regular exercises.
The best example for this would be preventing the smoking at the public places , due to this the smokers only a get a limited freedom and the other people would benefit from not causing any diseases by breathing the cigarette smoke.
