Answer: The sphygmomanometer is used for the measurement of the blood pressure. So, it shows the exertion of the blood on the arterial walls. It has inflatable cuff, which is used to warp around the arm. Hence it shows the blood pressure levels. If the blood pressure is high, that means the person is suffering from hypertension and the blood circulation is also very high.
Whereas, the plethysmography is related to the lung functioning test. It is used to determine about the presence of the aur the lungs can hold while taking the deep breath. It means it calculates the amount of air that can be inhaled and exhaled by the person.
