There are many legal and ethical considerated while working with people who have disability. Ethical issues like equality,full and effective participation and inclusion in society ,respect for difference and accessibility.

Disabled person mostly faces many discriminations by the people around them.For this purpose,there are many legal considerations to be kept in mind while working with them. There are several rights and laws made for disable person which protect them from discrimination.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS

-Right to respect for human dignity

-Right to medical, psychological and functional treatment as necessary.

-Right to economic and social security , including the right to employment.

-Right to protection against exploitation , discrimination and above.

-Right to have consideration of special needs at all stages of economic and social planning.

-Acceptance as a part of human directly and humanity.

These legal considerations should be obeyed and followed while working with disabled person.

ETHICAL CONSIDERATION

The ethical principles of psychologicists and code of conduct (2002) addressess the ethical aspects of disability. The code encourages people to be aware of and respect differences based upon disability and understanding disability necessary for effective implementation of their services.

1. Respect for people's right and dignity and the right of individual to privacy, self determination and confidentiality.the person should consider these factors when working with disabled person.

2. To ensure the competence of their services or make appropriate referrals and refrain them from discrimination and harassment based upon disability.

3. There are many personal problem and conflicts that disabled person faces like STIGMA , which makes it difficult for disable person to voice their needs. Such stigma related to them should be avoided while working with them, so that they can perform work related activities in a competent manner.
