1. What are the most important sources of CO2 emissions in China, and why are carbon emissions so difficult to control now and in the future?
please type the answer into 8-10 sentences
Fossil fuel combustion is the major source of CO2 emission along with cement production, manufacturing and power generation.
China is the major exporting country in the world. Exporting requires production and production leads to CO2 emission. This is called virtual emission because all these goods which generate pollution are consumed in abroad countries. International trade is the lifeline of the country and source of its revenue. Therefore, it is difficult to reduce these emissions.
The simultaneous focus is on finding ways to reduce these emissions but these are time-consuming and costly. Also, the existing infrastructure like roads, railways, power plants which depends on traditional energy sources can not be shut down. With growing economies, industrialization is also growing and thus CO2emission is continuing. people will buy cars, they will use factory produced goods and no one can stop this suddenly. Therefore it is difficult to control now and in future.
It requires a lot of effort from people also. but a rational consumer always looks for cheap products and not eco-friendly products.
