Are technology-based surveys better than handwritten surveys? Why or why not?

A survey is a method of research for collecting data , it can be done through paper survey or technology based survey.

Technology -based survey is becoming more popular than handwritten survey as-

a. SPEED- Technology survey can be distributed through mail or social media quickly in minutes while handwritten survey is time consuming and complex process.

b. TARGET AUDIENCE -. Technology survey can be reach more respondents more efficiently through email or sharing the link ,a paper survey cannot reach a bigger audiences but it is suitable where technology based survey is not reached , like visual -impaired audience can't text on a monitor.

c. ADVANCE FEATURES - Technology survey can have advance logic survey that's not available in handwritten survey like sending notifications or alert.

d. COST - Technology survey is less costly than handwritten survey .

Although , Technology survey is better than handwritten survey but , it is not suitable in all situations like the areas where people might not have access to the computer like older adults or at an events where feedback can be easily gathered through paper survey. Thus , survey should be done on the basis of target audience.

But with change in Technology the technology based survey is better than handwritten survey in most aspects.
