Answer 1 :)
We can take organs except the brain
from the patient suffering Glioblastoma Multiforme Stage IV. This
type of carcinoma occurs in brain therefore, we can take other
organs.
In the third degree burn at 15%
surface, we need to take heavy precaustions becaseu this is serous
burn condition. For such patient we need to do following management
procedures.
First aid: Do the
first aid by dousing cool water over burnt surface and cover it
through clean wraps. Now, immediately transfer the victim to the
nearest hospital.
Initial
treatment:
- Debriding is very crucial for all
necrotic tissues up to some days, therefore, carefully debride all
dead tissues of burnt surface. We need to scrub the surface
gently.
- Alcohol based washing is prohibited
in such cases.
- After scrubbing, dress up the burnt
srufacae with petroleum cloth and dry soft cloth. This will stop
seepage.
Daily
treatment:
- Changing dressing is very crucial;
if possible, it should change twice daily.
- Daily inspect haemorhhage or
decoloration, Fever, cellulitis, and antibiotics effect.
- We should use 1% silver
sulfadiazine ointment for one-layer dressings or 11% Mafenide
acetate for without dressings.
- In the case of burnt hands, after
using ointments cover hands with polythene gloves and daily bath
the hands after removing gloves.
Healing phase:
- The complexity of the burn and its
surface directly affects the period of the healing phase. Deprived
of infection, apparent burns heal fast.
- The patient needs long term care,
therefore its planning is necessary. These burns can take 2 years
to be healed.
- Use scar removal creams after
complete healing of wounds.
- Nutrition is very important;
therefore, ensure 6000 Kcal per day energy should be provided. If
needed, use nasogastric tube for feeding.
