In our area hurricane are more common and the earthquakes are seen every one's in a week . We are not only the one who facing the disaster . the whole community is suffered , and our responsibitly to helps the other in this such drastic situation . When we go for the home where are home is situated in such disaster prone area we should have to be prepare with that by taking such equipments which helps us in coping with the disaster.. This piece will focus on what to have in a go bag - a pack prepped for when we need to get out of the house or car during travelling within seconds .It's ment to get us through the first 72 hours , but the same items apply for a hirricane / tornodo prep situaton .
Before packing we have to remember that any steps we take towards preparation are good to one's . we just need to it perfectly .
1-) ID
its the first thing to always carry it for most important reason to have with it . Depending on the what kind of the emergency , we'll need our ID to access bank accounts and claim other assests that we hold. .IT helps in registeration , durind evacuations , authorities need to keep records ofd people who are moved or rescued , and it seasier to register for the help with FEMA , etc. when it demonstrate who we are . SO, make a copy of our passport , and the actual ID and to keeep it in waterproof pouch ( ziplock bag)
2-) Cash
After the disaster , no one will be able to take our credit card , but we 'll need moneyfor food , fuel , transport and many more . Also to keep some cash in the bag in water proof pouch
3-) good water filter
Keep one full water bottle in our bag , but known it 'll only last we half a day to a day . Then we 'll need a smart , portable way of purifying water .
4-) Emergency whistle
One of the main issue in the earthquake is that the people get trapped in the buildings . if we traped , we'll need to signal rescue workers without losing our voice or expanding precious energy
5-) First aid kit
One of the primary risk in any emergency conditions _- such as hurricanes , tornodo , earthquake and many more here many people get injured particlarly ht on the hand ) . Our kit should include thje pain killer both in the forms of pills and sprays . also bandages, gauze , scissors , tape , hydrogen peroxide and any medications we need
6-) HAnd sensitizers and other sanitary supplies
Hygiene is the critical aspects during the crisis situations . fail to maintain it . we could to become infected or contaminated so its important to keep such things in the bags ;- roll of toilet paper , hand sansitizers , soap and mouthwash , and th ewomen make sure to should be take packs of tampons nd the pads .
7-) A solar powered radio plus cell phone charger
iRonically one of the most important thing to do always take the extra cell solar batteries with ourselfes , after the disaster there is no internet facilities difficults o contact with the othersas the connections is broken down
8-) clothes
Alwayas to put some extra clothes with yourself , there is no gaurantee with the time that the next movement what happen eith us so its better to be always ready for it by advance preprations
