1. Why do companies exaggerate in advertising? Is it ethical?
2. When can disclaimers lead to positive and/or negative publicity?
3. How can marketers take advantage of laughable disclaimers in their advertising?
(Can i get a brief answer for these questions)
Ans.
Not completely but yes it's partially ethical because, it's good to attract the customers towards the product and convince them to buy it, but it's not ethical when the companies spend too much on the advertising or show content which can harm the someones feelings or promising fake things.
2.The disclaimers can lead to positive publicity as the claims made by the disclaimer is correct and also helps the customer to understand the advertisement better.
The disclaimer can lead to negative publicity when the claims
made by the disclaimer are hurting some individual's or community's
centiments or are against any community.
3.The marketers can get advantage of the laughable disclaimers in
their advertisement by making it entertaining so that more number
of people get attracted towards it and watch the advertisement. It
can be used to attract people to watch the advertisement.
