Using dimensional analysis:

Client Intake:

8oz coffee with 2 tsp creamer

4 oz of water

IV fluid infusing at 50 mL/hr over 8 hours.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Solution:-

8 oz coffee with 2 tsp creamer:-

1 oz = 29.574 ml

or, 8 oz = 29.574 × 8 ml

= 236.59 ml

Now, 1 tsp(teaspoon) = 4.93 ml

or, 2 tsp = 4.93×2 ml

= 9.86 ml

So, total fluid in 8 oz coffee with 2 tsp creamer = 236.59 ml + 9.86 ml

=246.45 ml

4 oz of water :-

1 oz = 29.574 ml

or, 4 oz = 29.574 × 4 ml

= 118.296 ml

Hence, 4 oz water = 118.296 ml

IV fluid infusing at 50 mL/hr over 8 hours :-

given, infusion rate = 50 ml/hr

Infusion time = 8 hour

Infusion rate = volume of fluid infused / infusion time

or, volume of fluid infused = infusion rate × infusion time

= 50 ml/hr × 8 hr

= 400 ml

So, total fluid intake by the client = 246.45 ml + 118.296 ml + 400 ml

= 764.75 ml

= 765 ml [ rounded to nearest whole number]

Therefore, client intake = 765 ml

Using Java language (in program NetBeans). 1) Using a 2 dimensional array Your company has 4 grocery stores. Each store has 3 departments where product presentation affects sales (produce, meat, frozen). Every so often a department in a store gets a bonus for doing a really good job. You need to create a program that keeps a table of bonuses in the system for departments. Create a program that has a two dimensional array for these bonuses. The stores can...

Dimensional analysis In deep water, the fact that the propagation velocity v for surface waves has been observed depends on the wavelength λ of the waves and the wave height h. It is also reasonable to believe that also the density ρ of the liquid and the acceleration of gravity g affect. Use dimensional analysis for to produce a possible connection. Note that the dimensional analysis can show that someone parameter actually has no effect. In that case, this must...
