How does the structure of Congress affect its role in making of policy?
The Congress is divided into two subparts known as House of Representatives or lower House and Senate or Upper House. Thus this structure causes delays in passage of bills as majority on both Houses leads to bill becoming an Act.
Such structure on other hand also helps protect citizens views and takes calibrated decisions based on unanimity and thus prevents dictatorship and brings democracy.
It is also vested with powers to declare war incase of natiinal emergency and thus such structures prevents misuses of power and takes well agreed decision.
