What is an example (real or not) of evolution in which you explain how each of the three conditions, plus mutation, produce change in a population.
ANSWER :
According to the evolutionary theory there some factors that make the changes in the population of an organism. In which three factors (mutation, natural selection & migration) are of major importance in this phenomenon. By natural selection the population of a particular species depends on the adaptability of environmental conditions since, it might be harmful and makes genetic changes in them.Hence, only the species those are adaptable to atmospheric harshness or have beneficial mutation in their body can servive and remain have to finish.
The best example of evolution is of giraffe and peppered moth; short fore limb giraffe changes into long limbed giraffe via natural selection due to finishing of land grass and only presence of trees leaves at that environmental period. But peppered moth is an example of mutation or industrial evolution through which light coloured moth changes into dark coloured moth that are adaptable to live by escaping from prey.
