There is general private practice physician more than 35years, and two nurse practitioners also working in the practice part time. Working today there are the two receptionists, one medical assistant, one NP, the diabetic educator, and a new case manager. The atmosphere is tense because the patients have been waiting. MAs at private physician office complain to Dr..... that Nurse Practitioner (ME) slow but they are not supportive. At the end of your very long busy day the MA catches Nurse Practitioner ( ME) in the hall and tells you to see the patient in the hallway. Pt is 82-year-old man who looks frail, feeling weak and short of breath. You tell the MA fine but you will need a room. She look angry but rooms the patient. When you go in to see the patient they are fully clothed and the vital signs have not been done. You leave to find the pulse ox to check patient oxygen. You finally find it tucked in a back room draw after a ten minute search.
