Provide 5 different ways to to a situp that sequentially get harder and harder without the use of outside resistance. Consider moment arms to answer this question. You should list them so that the easiest one is listed first and so on. Take a look at the pushup example in the notes to guide you. Be sure you are explaining yourself well.

Five different ways to do situp-

1. Start by lying on your back by keeping your knees bent at 90- degree angle with your feet flat to the surface and hand touching your ears. Then lift your torso up as close to your thighs as possible this will not increase too much moment arm which will gain your muscles.

2. Start by the same possition but try to keep your thighs closer as much as possible. Now lift your torso up toward your thighs and twist it to the right till your left elbow is touching your right knees and do it another side in next repition.

3. for this also start by lying on your back with your knees band and your feet shoult be lifted up from the ground around 10 cm,now extend your arm above your head and then took your arm and knees together using your abdominal muscles this will also be a reason for less moment arm and increase the muscle arm which will make hard to do.

4. Start sitting, balanced just behind your sit bones, and back slightly to lift your feet off the floor and slightly move your knees to chest. Then erect your spine and do your legs straight . This fill decrease the length of moment arm which will give cause to gain muscle and to loss the fat.

5. Lie on the ground from one side of your body with one hand of same side on the floor and other behind your hand. Then start your legs to straight off the floor bringing your torso towords your legs. In this condition the point of force action will be your side abdomen muscles and thigh muscles, hence moment arm will be too littile which will make this situp harder.

Paired-samples t test and graduate admissions: Is it harder to get into graduate programs in psychology or in history? We randomly selected five institutions from among all U.S. institutions with graduate programs. The first number for each is the minimum grade point average (GPA) for applicants to the psychology doctoral program, and the second is for applicants to the history doctoral program. These GPAs were posted on the Web site of the well-known college guide company Peterson’s. Wayne State University:...
