Fiber plays a major role in digestion and absorption of nutrition in our body. dietary fibers mainly found in vegetables,whole grains and also in fruits and it helps to keep our system clean and helps in regular bowel movement. thus, fiber diet can decrease the rates of constipation. Though too much fiber in diet may result in bloating, diarrhea sometimes.

Dietary fibers can be attributed to health benefits. Examples of food that contain soluble fibers are, oats, fruits, legumes etc. insoluble fibers came from plant cell wall which does not dissolve in water (example- wheat,vegetables, seeds etc). Generally we need 35 to 40 percent of fiber in our daily diet to get health benefit as, fiber plays a major role in digestive health.
