Generally , the role of an administrator in schools is that of a principal or assistant principal. They play an integral role in ensuring the smoothly running of the school. They make all decisions relating to the operations of the school management.

1. They help the teachers in preparing the syllabus for the students .  

2. They ensure that the school teaches material which are made compulsory by the district level .

3. They conduct parent -teacher's meeting , in order to keep student's behaviour under control.

4. They intend to make behaviour plans for the students , who cause problem within the school premise.

5. They set the rules and regulations of the school.

6. They look into the matter of whether the students divulge in bad habits or not . Like , drug use .

All the rules , stated above helps in the development of a student. It helps in maintaining a healthy environment in the school.

Among all these factors , if one of them is not maintained then it will surely lead towards the degradation of the student. Hence it will affect the child as well as the school's reputation . Taking an instance from the above statement , is :

If the student is not kept a check of what he is doing within school premise . It will harm the student . If parent teacher meeting is not held . Parents wont be aware of their children . Unknowingly , this will harm the child . Since , the child does not know what is good / bad for him/her . So, it is very important for such an event to take place . (i.e. parents -teacher meeting)
