The term throws light to vast population of the United States who have their ancestors in one or more countries in Asian continent. Asian Americans are usually health conscious population who believes on worth of healthy dietary habits for the benefits in health and beauty. Concerning health, those who follows a healthy Asian diet has less chance of cardiac diseaes.

They usually indulge in this healthy life style because of deep rooted traditions and heritage. They focus on high protein diet, consumption of green vegetables etc. They consume nuts and sea food as staples. Rice is the majorly preferred carbohydrate or starch in the diet.
