How does the role of a medical specialist today compare to the role of a medical specialist in the past? Include in your response both similarities and dissimilarities. Define patient navigator and describe the role of the medical assistant as a patient navigator.
There were great changes in today health care system that the
previous years. due to increased population growth, there is a need
for additional health care resources. The US aging population
increased in recent years. there were multiple chronic diseases,
atypical symptoms, diagnosed, and treatment that is difficult to
cure in the past year. medical socialist role on the assumption for
today's generation should be well trained to meet health care
needs. medical specialist as a powerful role in different
socialization in many fields like psychiatric, pediatric,
geriatric, surgery, internal medicine they make their important
function by higher education, training, knowledge application
skills, research, health prevention, addressing of health issues in
the community.than curing prevention is the main goal for medical
specialist in today world. control of disease through various
medical care, drug therapy, immunization, public health measures
reduce the death rate in recent years. In past year medical
specialization has less scientific evidence than today due to poor
technical skills and availability. fundamental health care needs
for the population focus on prevention and reflecting a
comprehensive approach to health care. providing better, quality
health care as a medical specialist their role expands the service
provided in many specailzation.meical specialist roles for care for
caring the people than curing through health and social service. In
the 16th century, there were modernization and socialization of
health care begin. In the past century, the medical procedure
becomes complex and ineffective. the good clinical effort on
socialization made better outcomes for patients in the recent
world.
a patient navigator is a health professional they focus on patient
needs. navigator helps to guide the patient through the health care
system. medical assistants act as a patient navigator they check
vital signs, review patient medical records, obtaining patient
medical, family, and social history for the provider. Medical
assistants as a patient navigator identify the issues and make a
trust for future followup and focus on volume-based to value-based
health care models.
