Describe the key characteristics of a “mixed” capitalistic enterprise system, and then state whether “Economic Freedom” is one of the characteristics (why or why not).
----> Mixed capital enterprise system or mixed economic system is the combination of both market economy and planned economy. The main characteristics of a mixed capitalistic enterprise system are:-Coexistence of various sectors, cooperative sector, existence of both freedom and control, planning and social welfare etc.
----> In a mixed capital enterprise system, the private sector and public sector co-exist. There is a certain level of economic freedom so that the private sector can decide the use of capital and seek profits. It simultaneously allows the government to intervene in some economic activities and industries. Through providing public goods and collecting taxes, the government can create more social welfare services.
