Expert Solution

To address the problems related to social determinants of health, Some of the measures have initiated like

  1. Strenghthening of panchayati raj
  2. Anti poverty programmes
  3. Specia quota for employment for scheduled cast and scheduled tribes
  4. Decentralized planning of health services
  5. Addressal of locational problems

According to my opinion these interventions are not necessary enough to meet the problems occured due to determinants of health. There are certain challenges/limitations:

  • Equal distribution of health services in all sectors
  • Non awareness of services available
  • Less marketing of goverment programmes
  • Cooruption-Availing of services by people based on napotism
  • Reluctance to change
  • Not Reaching to the needy group]
  • Non equitable transfer of funds

There should be proper management to handle these kind of limitataions seperately otherwise goveerment will spent the money but the services will not reach to the poor and needy group. Problems will remain as it is after the successful implementation of the programmes.\

Management should be more responsible and transparent while dealing with these kind of problems as it is very sensitive issue
