Answer: The traditional system that were used in the hospital causes burden and the process were slow. The traditional systems was time taking and were little expensive. Whereas, the use of technology in the healthcare organizations provides a platform to improve the treatment efficiency, diagnosis accuracy etc. The technology has reduced the medical error and hence it is now important that technology should be used in every healthcare organizations.

There are several advantages of using technology in the healthcare organizations some of them are:

  • Reduce workload
  • Increases treatment efficiency
  • Improves the workflow
  • Patients can easily assess their healthcare professionals.

Some of the disadvantages of technology in healthcare are:

  • Expensive
  • Requires trained staff
  • Data privacy issues.

Advantages of traditional systems are:

  • Low cost and less maintenance.
  • Practice based.
  • Involvement of humans.

Disadvantages are:

  • Time taking
  • Reduces efficiency
  • Increased workload.

The use of technology has improved the healthcare system working process and patients experience. It has reduces medical errors and enhanced the positive outcome. The use of technology has reduced the burden and increases the effectiveness of the treatment by providing better methods.
