1-Describe the public duties of physicians. (looking for a paragraph)
2- What are your thoughts on the laws of maintaining records in NJ? Discuss some of the guidelines and regulations?
1.Physicians have major role in health care. Not only hospitals, but also public also. They have public duties. So as AP oartvof public duties, the doctors care responsible for report the specific situations to health sector for improvement of health system as well as protecting the public or society. The major duties of physician in public duties are reporting of death, birth, stillbirth, crime specific diseases, communicable diseases, abuse of vulnerable groups such as elder people ,child and women's, neglect and abandonment of elder. The main aim is to improve the public health system.
2.Lows related to maintaining health records in NJ are very clear . It will help legal in all aspects. If a every step in health care are documented, then that will be a good proof for arising issues in future. Lows in NJ are very strict, so the maintanance of such types of documents will force the health workers in a better way, as well as all will be documented effectively.
Guidelines and regulations:
*All identification data should be recorded properly.
*Information will be clear, accurate, true.
*Informations on report should be understandable.
*The records should made effective because that should keep in health sectirvminimum 7 years.
*If it is hospital record then nursing notes, doctor'svorder, lab reports,, medications, surgery etc should be document clearly.
*The nurse should have the responsibility to making records properly.
*Birth and death records should maintain properly. ( with identification data, address, time etc)
