Organ transplantion and recipients face distinctive ethical challenges.Organ transplantation is one of the advancement in the medical technology which is highly emerging recently. Primary issues are nonmalefience and autonomy . Regularly the intensive care physicians and his nurses face these ethical issues. The physician has to identify a specific donor , educate the families and other healthcare providers, for doing all these the physician should think autonomously and also he should act in a way that no patient is harmed .

For donating first important issue is obtaining a presumed consent.There are more rumours regarding organ transplantation and donation at present. So education should be provided to public and also all healthcare providers about the necessity behind donation.

More patients are in need of organs ,the physicians are in a position to decide which patients is in urgent need .Potential patients should be examined .Conflicts can arise within the healthcare providers (physicians ) which may be a hindrance for selecting qualified patient .If presumed consent is not available or the families donot accept ,problems may arise because of laws.

Organ donors are patients who had brain death and nowadays circulatory death patients also included.There are legal issues behind organ transplantation.

If a donor is related like siblings and unrelated donors who are different ,even husband ,wife connected by law also has certain regulations . The self-giving of a husband or wife can be as generous as that of brother or sister, and friendship may expect an offering .If related donor and recipient are siblings there may be problems arise in the form of guilt , the sibling may sometimes feel fear or not willing for donation but due to pressure of family or sense of guilt they may accept to donate.

Law doesnot permit any way of payment in case of donation of organs .
