Dr. Bloom is a senior surgeon at a hospital. It is common talk among the staff that Dr. Blooms patients have a higher level of hospital-borne infections after surgery than do other doctor's patients. A 42 year old female who has undergone a full mastectomy for breast cancer shows symptoms of pain during treatments and presents a low grade fever. Post-treatment, she asks "Is Dr. Bloom a good surgeon?". What are some answers you could give to her? List five possibilities. Would you use consequential, duty or virutous ethical system to decide your answer? What would your actual answer be and why?
Five possibilities are
1, Yes, he is a senior surgeon he treated lot of similar cases and chances of infections
are high after a major surgery like this.
2, No, he is not good as other doctors in this hospital.
3, I am new here please ask to somone else.
4, Everyone in the hospital said that he is a bad doctor.
5, Sorry, I don't know.
* This five possibilities i select first answer because i agree to virutous ethical system and using someones consequential theories to assess people and respect ethical rights when answering about a person.
