1. OmniRx® can accomodate upto 13 drawers. They are:

  • OmniDispenser single dose dispensing system : stores medication in separate, secured location in the cabinet and each dose is dispensed individually.
  • Guiding lights: guides the clinician to the drawers and bind for selected medication.
  • Flexbin single dose drawer : provides high security. The access to medicine is restricted to item and dose selected by clinician
  • Locking lis drawer: provide high security by limiting access to one preselected medicine at a time
  • Sensing lid drawers : special sensors on bin lids on bin entry. Provide visual and auditory feedback to clinicians
  • Lighted matrix drawer: guided lights to guide user to correct drawer and bin
  • Matrix drawer : for large quantities of drug, large vials and premixed iv bag
  • Omnicell medication/ supply drawer
  • Nine drawer pharmacy module
  • Three drawer pharmacy module

2. Technicians and pharmacists are at severe risk for exposure to hazardous, toxic agents while manually preparing chemotherapy drugs. Exposure in the form of Inhalation, ingestion, and skin contact while medicine handling and needlesticks can be extremely harmful.

CytoCare is the automated robotic system. It is used for safe preparation of hazardous, patient-specific cancer therapy medications and IV admixtures. Thus it prevents harmful exposure of technicians and pharmacist.

3. Pharmacy automation is the use of mechanically automated system for drug handling and distribution.

It is a very helpful invention as it reduces human errors, provide accurate and efficient dose. It also reduces the work load and burden on pharmacists and technicians.

It is a very effective way to distribute drug without any errors.
