Describe differences between health services provided under Medicare (Part A versus Part B) and Medicaid. How would you respond to arguments that Medicare and Medicaid must be cut and consequently that health care benefits to older people must be limited?
Medicare covers the insurance health cover for families with low income employees and children may benefit from the parental insurance policies. It was included in the affordable family act under Obamacare. The coverage includes the medical facilities for people with drugs prescription, dental care, blood tests, regular health check up and health facilities for children, smoking testing, drug testing and testing for sexually transmitted diseases. This further includes the investments in health done by people without governmental investments in family insurance.
Medicaid consists of two insurance covers under section A and section B and section D with premium insurance facilities for old age people with age exceeding 65 years and above. This includes the various insurance policies with risk behavior, analysis and diagnosis of end stage diseases, blood testing, regular analysis of samples. The section A of the policy covers the hospital payment policies during diagnosis and testing, section B covers the medical insurance policies and Section D covers drugs and other prescription funds required to be maintained.
The amount deducted from salary or compensation wages is maintained by the employment firm and health care organization on yearly basis with percentage deduction policies based on the investment by hospitals and range of diagnosis to be covered by the patient along with the analysis with the help of latest machines and equipments. The insurance covers a range for different patients according to the range and facilities covered in the insurance. Therefore the premium can be increased with the increase in the diagnosis facilities and the premium may remain for only preliminary testing and analysis of patients with just prescription of drugs without bio-medical imaging and use of various sampling analysis machines and instruments for testing of diseases and micro-organisms.
