The parts of climate include the statistical summary of temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, rainfall, other meteorological measurements in a given region over long periods. Climate can be dry or wet, hot or cold, or humid. These are the abiotic factors that help to determine the nature of a biome. Terrestrial biomes are determined mainly by climate, and this is responsible to influence the plant growth, biodiversity, and adaptations of land organisms. The desert doesn’t have any visible plants, whereas the rainforest is densely packed with trees.

As for example: The growing season is the period of time each year when it is warm and wet enough for plants to grow. The growing season can last all the year in a hot, wet climate but just a few months in a cooler or drier climate. In addition, plants grow best in soil that contains huge amounts of nutrients and organic matter. Decomposition occurs too slowly in cold climates and too quickly in hot, wet climates. Therefore, temperate climates normally have the best soil for plant growth.
