argument in favour of break up of the giants- as we know a perfect competition is a market structure which gives the highest level of consumer justice as there is no exploitative power in the hands of the firms. but as opposite to perfect competition monopoly is one evil for the consumers as the cosumers have no power over the market. here the big firms like facebook, apple, amazone and google have become like monopoly even in the presence of competition. these big firms have very high market power they can manuplate things according to there will as they have the power to reach out to millions. for example recently there was a news of data manupuation or miss use of datas of people by facebook. this is a big threat to privacy of the people. and as there is consent of people in everything they are doing, bleming the companies  will also not help. so there is a serious need to break these giants up to reduce the power over market.

argument against break up of these firms- there is no need to break these firms as they have reached the position where they are by not harming the consumers and by giving the better service that the consumer needs. ao as long as their clean and dont violate any law there is no need to break them up as there is a large group of population who need them badly. harming the firms will ultimately be like harming the consumer rights. another thing is as the firms are on top because of there service to consumer breaking them without the replacement of the same for the consumer will highly disturbe the market. the consumers are free to choose so no one is forcing them and there is nothing imposed on them so there should be no breaking up of the firms as long as they are good for the consumers and they are not exploiting anyone.
