Solutions

Expert Solution

15. This is an observational study. As 1500 employees were examined and they diagnosed coronary artery disese. It seems that the employees were ready to be examined to see what the result is going to be. And they have not mentioned any treatment in this study, so i think that the employees are later send for the treatment but it is not recorded in this study , so this is observational study.

16.This is not an ecological study because ecological study can be imposed on a large number of people, can be conducted rapidly, with minimal resourses and study unable to examine data for individuals.

But in this study they have examined everyone individually.they examined every five through diagnostic criteria and death certificates.

17.This is longitudinal study. because they have examined a group of people foe CAD disease only. They have not done any comparitive study.

18.Yes, this is a case control study because no involvement is attempted. The goal is to determine the exposure to the risk. This study is completed in less time.
