Networking theory. Please, provide the solution.

1) What are the difficulties associated with wireless network connections? Discuss your experiences with wireless access point setup and configuration.

2) What would you do if network availability is a high priority? Describe your solution and benefits?

Expert Solution

1.)There are many difficulties associated with wireless network connections. Some of them are as follows:-

-There might be chances of misconfiguration.

-There could be too many users and devices which are accessing the wireless conncetions which jams the traffic.

- Most importantly The Hackers. The hackers are accessing the wireless conncetion ver easily and hence solving more and more problems.

- If there are too many users ofcourse it is difficult to meet all the user's demands.

To configure a wireless access point all that needs to be done is connect a laptop or any other device which supports wireless connections via a password which will be provided by the network provider.
In the device which you are using to get the wireless connection go to wireless settings and configure the network name and save the same.
Once it is saved it will be automatically connected to the wireless network whenever the wireless button is turned on your device.

2.) If the network availability is high priority we need to prioritize traffic which means it shoukd be done at that the router end itself.
If you know the ip address of the router you are using the it is easy to prioritize the traffic from the router's website. how much ever time you wanted to allocate to the device.
You have to run multiple data centers at mutiple locations for disaster planning whch means that if the network availablity is high at one place the user can shift to another data center and viceversa.

Benefits of the same are-
i. timely errors can be detected.
ii. there will not be any hindrance to the operations and they can be performed without having to stop.
iii.there is no chance of data lost.
iv. the network will be accurate and consistent throughout.

A Wimax wireless network integrated with a satellite network can provide connectivity to any location within 10 km of the base station. The number of sectors per base station can be varied to increase the bandwidth. An independent cable operator is considering three bandwidth alternatives 44(Mbps), 55(Mbps), and 88 (Mbps). Assume a life of 20 years and a MARR of 10% per year. Bandwidth Mbps First Cost, 1000$ Operating Cost, 1000$ per Year Annual Income, 1000$ per Year 44 -40,000...
