Some reactants do not go to completion but rather reach a point of equilibrium between the products and the reactants. Given the reaction below, suppose you start with 4.56 moles of A. The reaction reaches equilibrium and at equilibrium the are only 1.39 moles of A left. How many moles of B and how many moles of C have you made?

2A --> 3B +C

Solutions

Expert Solution

            2A            -->    3B + C

Initial            4.56               0       0

Change        -2x                   3x      x

Equilibrium   4.56-2x              3x      x

Given equilibrium conentration of A = 1.39 moles

so 4.56- 2x = 1.39 moles

or 2x = 3.17 moles

x = 1.59 moles

so equilibrium conentration of B and C are

[B] = 3x = 3X1.59 = 4.77 moles

[C] = x = 1.59 moles

So we have made 4.77 moles of B and 1.59 moles of C

Go online and do some focused research on some specific human rights case. There are high profile cases (and they do not have to be current) like Elian Gonzalez, Malala, Syrian refugees (a dialog on how to solve this would be welcome). No matter what you choose, be brief in your description of the case (Africa, Asia, US, Europe, Latin America, Mideast), focus on the controversial aspects of the case-- how it was resolved or not, and how it connects...

(C++) How do I go about obtaining the origin of a point via an instance variable? I'm fairly new to C++ and one of my first assignments in my current class has a focus on us trying to understand headers, implementations, pointers, constructors, and the like. This particular assignment has us working with x and y coordinates. I've gotten most of this completed, but I'm not quite sure what I've done so far is going to work and there are...
