1.Librarians need to be familiar with online databases because accessing a website to store your information and provides several advantages over other methods of preserving data.It saves money,it is very flexible and can be accessed from any where.
2.An Online database is a database accessible from a local network or the internet.Online databases are hosted on websites,made available as software as a serviceproducts accessible via a web browser.
3.JSTOR and project MUSE are full text collection of certain scolarly journals spanning the disciples and not comprehensive or specialised bibliographic database.

Project MUSE journals:History & Memory,The Massachussets Review,Transition
5.JSTORE:means Journal STORage is a digital library founded in 1995.Originally containing digitalized back issues of acadamic journals.It provides full text searches of almost 200 journals.
Project MUSE:a non profit collaboration between libraries and publishers,is an online database of peer reviewed academic journals and electronic books.Project MUSE contains digital humanities and social science content from over 250university presses and scholarly societies around the word.
6.In JSTOR we are not getting the recent articles.but in Project MUSE we get the recent articles,so it is good for current research.JSTOR is used for research with history,literature,social science etc.
