As I am a labour consultant , I have to use mediation method to engage with the dispute parties . I can use mediation in many different ways , stretching from a structured mediation process to using an informal "go-between" to help me speak to them indirectly . I have to make a meeting both of the group separately . I have to listen their suggestions to resolve the problem . Then after I have to make a meeting with both the two groups to set out the issues and agree the process . In this meeting , I will try to compromise and reach agreement , which is recorded in writing . If the process fails then the groups can take further steps .
These things can help parties to "speak" to each other when negotiations have become emotional , angry or when workers do not have access to the other party . It can bring in new ideas and options . Can help diffuse conflict , It can hartices compromise and save face . In private mediation , both parties agree to participate and the parties must agree on the mediator . There are several mediators out there with different experiences and areas of focus in their partice . Picking the right mediator is a key decesion and can affect whether the mediation is actually successful . Although the mediator played an instrumental role in shephrding us towrads a settlement , we ourselves propose and accepted the settlement terms . The result was a satlement that we were all comfortable with and everyone walked away satisfied .
I as a mediator have to pointed out that this process helped the recovery of the business quickly and has the next generation of the previously - feuding families a chance to be a family once again . I have to try for compermise between the workers and employer and make out a decesion which is suitable for both of the groups . It will be very useful to break the disput between them .
