Aiden had 12 stocks in his portfolio, 7 of them are high tech companies and 5 are not. If h randomly selected 4 stocks to evaluate whether to sell or not hat is the probability that at least on of the selceted is high tech company
The answer is 98/99 but im not sure how to do the steps.
P(at least one of the selected is hight tech company) = 1 - P(all of them are not high tech company)
= 1 - 5C4 / 12C4
= 1 - 5/495
= 98/99 (ans)
