An ecosystem can be defined as a unit,that fucntions and made a structure in the biosphere consisting of community of living beings and the physical environment, both exchanges resources or minerals between them.

A simplest example of ecosystem is any forest on the earth.

Abiotic componets-It includes all the non living and inorganic components such as air, soil and environmental gases (i.e nitrogen, oxygen etc)

Biotic components- It comprising living organisms such as plants, animals etc and are classified according to their functional qualities into producers, consumers and decomposers.

plants act as the producers, animals act as the consumers and microorganisms act as the decomposers.

By continous deforestation for mining and agricultural land, human are affecting this ecosystem.

By hunting animals human are breaking chain between producers and consumers.

Effect on biodiversity : By deforestation, continuous fall in average annual rainfall could be seen as well as incresing the earth surface temperature thereby affecting local flora and fauna.
