In the example of plantation owners and fishermen, can you think of any factors that might affect the bargaining power of these parties?
In case of Plantation owners,
Bargaining power: The power by which farmers or plantation owners can make an impact on the price of the crops produced on the fields.
Factors affecting plantation owners bargaining power is :
1.The size of plantation fields.
2.The amount of rainfall in the area where the plantation fields are situated.
3,The other climatic conditions of the area.
4.The importance of the crop produced on these fields i.e.whether those produced products are directly demanded by the consumers or are used for value addition by the manufacturing sector in order to make other final products.
Factors affecting the bargaining power of fisherman includes:
1.The quantum of fishes provided by the fisherman.
2.The quality of fishes.
3.The market area/region where the fisherman has contacts to sell the fishes.
