Solutions

Expert Solution

1. The answer is given below:

False

Common information effect can be explained as a process in decision making wherein only a few members knows about the information and based on that important decisions are taken. This is a drawback wherein those few memebers may not have all relevant information to decide in some cases. Hence approaching task as a judgement we made will only increase and not reduce the common information effect.

2. The answer is given below:

True

Conflict is harmful to a team because it impact on the work as where the individual will disagree with each other statements and that affects the whole team towards any decision making.

3. The answer is given below:

breakthrough

When an idea is feasible and when it has a high value result then it results in breakthrough which means a sudden innovation or major development is made out of it.

4. The answer is given below:

Higher team cohesion

After action review means the review of the project once it is completed. This is to find the gaps and improve work for upcoming projects. Hence when this is followed there would be stronger processes to begin the next project, better team performance and enhanced communication.

5. The answer is given below:

Team reflexivity

It means the involvement of the team members before starting any project wherein they would discuss about the objectives, policy and procedures to be carried in the project, hence it reduces the risk of common information effect.
