Assuming we are an engineer and we are appointed as a manager in a company, the personal values that I would hold to manage the operations and the people in the company would be the Flexibility, Quality Analaysis and Continual Improvement of the work. As an engineer, we people are more into detailed and customisation regarding how anything works or is doing their job. Thus, being in a management position, we would ensure that the people and the resources performing their work are flexible and can withstand any change and risk in their work, they are qualitative in their work and also are increasing and improvising their design and innovation to achieve the best of everything.

I would evaluate the ethics of the company by analysing the Code Of Ethics of the company and what ammendments and principles are being stated on them. By reading all the principles and statements mentioned in the Code of Ethics like equality, treating fairly, innovation, improvement, sustainability etc, I would check if these principles are being followed or not. The methods I would use to check the same would be a qualitative analysis from the human resources and the employees in the organisation asking them if they know what ethics exist in the company and how you can effectively apply them in your real life too. This analysis would give me a good result regarding if the people are educated about their own company's ethics or not and if not, then why.

The suggestions I would like to give to improve the same process and with the principles to be include people. One very important principle for making the people follow your rules is to make sure they are a part of the rule making. Thus, include people in the ethics and principle making policy so that they all could make the most effective principles and code of ethics and eventually follow them because they made them by their own self.
