Just before closing time at the practice a young man was brought in after taking an overdose of heroin. After 2 minutes, you notice that the patient has stopped breathing and is now a funny shade of grey. You commence emergency procedure and the doctors at the clinic arrive to take over the situation. An elderly gentleman is very grumpy as his consultation with the doctor was interrupted and wanted to know Why they just didn™t let him go. He brought it on himself.™ The doctor asks you for assistance in moving the patient, you are reluctant as you don™t know what diseases the person may have, but you assist. The elderly gentleman continually calls out to know when they are going to get back to me™. You are a bit shocked at his responses during the emergency. The person who took the overdose regained consciousness and became verbally and physically aggressive, wanting to know who had ruined his hit?™
