More and more these days, companies are requiring new hires to be nicotine free. This is due to several factors, including a healthier workforce and cost savings just to name a couple. What are your thoughts about this practice? Would you work for a company that wanted to control its employees' activities to the extent that it prohibits them from smoking?

After all, what else could they try to prohibit?

More and more these days companies are requiring new hires to be nicotine free. This is due to several factors including a healthy workforce and cost-saving just two important factors.

Yes, it is true that nowadays more and more companies are more concerned about the workforce which is more reliable and more sustainable because of the decrease in the labour turnover ratio.

It is a concept where the efficiency and effectiveness of the workforce are very important to consider the productivity of the company.

If the workforce is healthy then there is a better chance to increase the productivity in the organisation and the sustainability and the reliability of the workforce in comparison to the other organisation is good.

It is a very dynamic concept related to various advantages means it is better for the environment it is better for the health and of course it is better for the growth of the company because everything is related to the efficiency of the workers.

The prohibition of smoking is always not possible but yes you can control the frequent occurrence of this habit.

The prohibition of smoking can also relate it with the betterment of the society.

It is also related to the organisation's corporate social responsibility.

In my opinion, this is the best policy to manage society and to maintain the balance in the environment and in the organisation.
