S.W.O.T analysis in problem encounter by a restaurant owner.
There are many problems that a restaurant owners can face , and to overcome such problem it is necessary to make SWOT analysis, which helps in evaluating their market position and find solutions to their problems.
Problems like in Increase in competition , new marketing strategies used by competitors etc.
1. Strength- firstly the restaurant owners must analyze their restaurant strength, by assessing all the strong points of restaurant. Like what dishes are being liked by customers.
Through this the restaurant can take steps to increase the variety of cuisine in menu which is more demand, which may attract more customers and crowd and help in win over it's competitors.
2. Weakness - In this the restaurant must analyze it's weakness , by comparing their services with competitors and to see which areas in their restaurant needs improvement . This can be done , by taking feedback , social media analyze and being active on Instagram like the restaurant found that people have to wait for long time for dish to get ready , the restaurant includes less vegetarian dishes which led customers to try other restaurants ,
3. Opportunities -. The restaurant owners must analyze the opportunities through which it can increase it's sales revenue and build an image . It includes external factors like adding more snacks , appetizers in their menu at low price , or adding more diet food or vegetarian food for the customer who like the healthy food , giving discount on happy hours.
4. Threat - It includes the factors which are beyond the control of firm and it is necessary to scan these threats to win over it's competitors and survive in long run like during COVID - 19 there is a Economic downturn and people are looking for affordable dishes and home deliveries . The restaurant must analyze such threats and try to make changes according to requirements and make plan to Change the services pattern.
