No doubt the Corona virus pandemic outbreak has caused a huge loss to the not only economy of a country but is also a threat to the health care system Globally .Despite of the lockdown , the corona virus pandemic had successfully affected a huge number of people which is a open threat to all of us .If we talk about the implication of COVID 19 in ghana particulalry we have following main implications regarding socio economic and cultural

• The covid 19 has impacted the education sector of ghana by the closure of school , colleges and universities impacting the teachers , students and staffs .The ministry of ghana had took the measure to continue the education via online technology but is not able to provide quitable access to the education services which is still a challenege.
• Due to COVID 19 outbreak , the Estimated GDP of Ghana declined from the target of 6.8 % to about 2.6% in the year 2020 .
• The Covid 19 response and measure had costed around 572 million in ghananian currency which is the amount not intended to be there but it has to be for the sake of livelihood of its citizens.
• The Estimated impact on the pertoleum sector of Ghana due to Covid 19 was shortfall in the stablization fund which was about 1,058 million in ghana currency , similarly short fall in annual budget , import duties was about 3,526 million , 808 million in ghana currency respectively .
• A lot of other such short fall was seen in the ghana apart from the above mentioned . The health care system as we know in not good enough to cope up the COVID 19 impact on the citizen of its country .Therefore huge death is seen as a result of outbreak .
• The trade volune and the value is set to decline due to the disruption in the supply chain globally .
• There is a net revenue loss of the govt. as a result of mixed impact of covid 19 on the price of commodities and contraction of trade volumes .
