Solutions

Expert Solution

1.The incubation period of 96hrs is found in two encephalitis are :-

- japanese encephalitis with a incubation period of 5-15days

- viral encephalitis with a incubation period of 4-10days

Both of them are caused by the bite of mosquito.

2. Optic neuritis, acute retinal necrosis due to viral encephalitis is the main vision impairment associated with encephalitis in which laser scars w/o hemorrhage are seen by patient along with occasional exudate .

3. An encephalitis patient is checked for foot lesions because in encephalitis there is inflammation of brain tissue causing impaired sensory functions and the patient has decreased or no sensation to external stimuli like any hot or cold things ,any injurious things which can cause any laceration, abrasion etc associated with bare foot. For providing care to the patient at the initial onset itself without any delay do a thorough assessment of foot for any lesions.

An observer A is standing some distance away from observer B who is traveling with constant velocity towards A with the firecracker. The velocity of B and distance between A and B is such that B will reach A in 1 sec as measured by A. At this instant B triggers the firecracker they are holding. Which of following options is correct? The firecracker explodes exactly when...
