Expert Solution

HGH is human growth hormone. It is a protein that is releases by pituitary gland into the blood. This is responsible for the growth of bones and tissues.

Now talking about the cream i.e. Somaderm/HGH cream. The contents of somaderm are Somatropin(growth hormone), Glandula suprarenalis(Pig adrenal gland) and Thyroidinum(Cow's thyroid hormone). Somatropin is identical to the growth hormone which is used to treat growth failure in children and adults who lack growth hormone.

Somaderm is said to be a transdermal HGH product but the HGH hormore can only be given by injection and is not transdermal because of the large molecules.

I would not recommend it to my friend without confirming if they have growth hormone deficiency or not and if the have the deficiency I would suggest them to visit a doctor and not take somaderm/HGH cream without proper procedure as it may have various side effects like joint pain, swelling, increased diabetic risk.
