Create a new plan that will bring in more revenue to the state of Georgia from the public in a way that they will support for paying taxes. it must increase taxation, but will not anger the public. try to innovate new ways to gain additional revenue
Introduction
Georgia is located in the south east corner of the United States and was one of the prime areas controlled by the British. It was included in the United States in late 1700's and is one of the key contributors to the country’s economic wealth respectively.
Taxes serve as one of the key guiders for a countries globalization efforts. It is to be clearly remembered in this, that it is increasingly difficult for countries to manage themselves without efficient tax collection since infrastructure and other key developments and expenditures of the government example schools, defense, local police and authorities and courts requires funds which are collected from people directly.
Truth of the matter is that no one likes paying taxes since a large chunk of their earnings goes out directly in the hands of the government. But the prime reason for this is not only the money which is charged from people but because none of them are clearly aware of where the money is going. Even though, there are policies and laws in place to allow people to get information about specific resources being used to build a road or otherwise, a big problem with taxes is that the government is often seen as not transparent enough while providing the general public information about how their taxes are utilized. This is part of the solution we are offering via the case study respectively.
Case Specifics & Plan of Action
As a collection policy to make the general people willing to give away a part of their income as taxes, the proposed plan is to allow people to directly access information as to how their income has been used in building their community and giving greater access to statistics of development.
Transparency would mean people would not doubt the government of misusing these funds. Any hike in the taxes should directly be linked to the development of the area and must not be transferred to the central government if possible.
Further a poll can be conducted each week to analyze which changes for example building a road are needed. This can be done by simple social media tools to which most people in the state have direct access to.
This will ensure that people are part of the development process and are kept informed of the utilization of taxes. This will prevent them from being angry and can prove to be a productive strategy for implementing economic taxes in the economy of Georgia respectively.
