Advertisement / Marketing / Promotions - Advertisements /Marketing or promotions of the company products are carried to increase the awareness of the products among the target population and explain the benefit against the value/price so that consumers understands the product well and can buy the product for their needs. The advertisement/marketing /promotion’s aim is to create an awareness of the company product among the target population. Generally advertisement/marketing/promotion explains the key benefits of the products in such a way that it will have positive impact on the consumers and consumers will be influenced and get attracted towards the company products.
Advertising affect us all. This is the reason of such a mass level advertisement is being carried out by the organizations in the world. Advertisement is the process of communication with the consumer people. If there is no communication between the manufacturer and the consumer, then consumer group will not be able to come to know about the product availability and product features. By the advertising process, the manufacturer develops the affect on consumers, so that consumers can gives preference to their product during purchasing.
We generally remember the things shown in advertisements. Our minds pick up the things that we see repeatedly by advertisements. The repeat advertisement made the product in top of our mind and recalls immediately.
We do recall the initial commercial television, which use to show various advertisements of the products. We do recall very old ads till now even after the time period of 20 to 25 years. In India we were having a very famous ad of washing powder – Nirma Washing Powder, Electric Bulb, Godrej Products, LML Vespa Scooter, Rajdoot Two wheeler etc. This we recall even today as well.
These ads have influence on us because the advertisement is made in such a way that it will show the special attractive properties of the product, which looks very attractive for consumers point of view and it will led the consumer to develop the interest and generate the demand of the product. Hence this ad brain washed the consumer for that product and the consumer feels that this product can only meet his requirements.
Current Television ads spark our interest and influence our buying needs – The current ads on television made us to develop the interest of the product and we try to develop interest for that particular product and try to purchase that product for our generated need. This is the current process being used by all the manufacturers in term of marketing and sale their product in the consumer market.
Generally our buying needs are influenced by the ads we see in television or on other marketing options like newspapers, digital marketing etc. These ads made our mind to recall the product as shown in the ads only. The repeat ads made our mind to recall the product easily. The products shown in ads are only recalled in our mind. So we try to buy the products which are in our top of mind. Hence these current ads made us influence on our buying habits.
