During Covid-19 the online websites such as Apple, eBay, and Walmart are absolute winners. During times of economic uncertainty such as Covid 19 the brand loyalty decreases. Due to the economic downturn there is a sharp decline in consumer's propensity to spend and their spending behaviour changed drastically; and certainly it's the bad news from the world of brands. The financial crisis and shortages caused the people to prefer to choose more private label options with low costs over the national brands. The values and views of consumers to assess brands have become much different than they were four months ago. The big and wealthy brands such as e-bay need to put efforts on the identification of new strategies for accommodating and to boost a buzz in vastly changed marketplace. In the essential items e-bay may not promote big discounts as its demand is inelastic however for the clothing brands should develop strategies to promoted heavy discounts and sales to drive consumer demand. Furthermore must add more home appliances, hobbies, and sports gear item categories for shifting the leisure activities to be indoors and turning their houses into an all-in-one space.
