Three African American employees sued their employer claiming they suffered a hostile work environment and/or racial harassment during their employment. The employees claimed that two “high-level administrative” employees frequently used the “n”-word. These high-level administrative employees were also African Americans. The administrative employees stated that the use of the “n”-word was commonplace in the work place and that it was not a harassing or discriminatory term especially when used by minorities in conversations with members of the same minority race. Will the three employees be successful in their case against their employer? Why or Why not?
If they suffered a hostile work environment and racial harassment during their employment so they can made a case against their employer.
First of all they are requested to communicate with the top most higher authority of organisation and show their all problem regarding the working environment, and accordingly after take next step.
On that particular time, they will be suggest to do or focus on some specific factor to resolve their problem, that are:-
Pay attention to every person concern
Works accordingly organization hierarchy
Take correct and disciplinary action
Communicate with their co-workers
Maintain discipline.
These are the some factors that take at the time, when something will wrong done with you at in the working environment.
